HELPING HANDS

The Story Behind

For me, a hospital always represented a place where I could get help. When I was thinking what the art piece for a hospital lobby should express, I mainly focused on the thought of HELPING.

My creation is called “Helping Hands”. There is a couple in the middle surrounded by outstretched hands. These hands represent hospital staff and all who generously donate money to make the hospital a better place.

Each pair of hands is different as every person is unique and is able to help in their own special way. Three hands are very different and these represent the equipment used in the hospital.

This art piece is meant to bring hope to those who come to get help, give encouragement to those who are helping, and thank those who give to make all this possible.
