Matthew
5:25,26
"Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is
taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him
on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and
the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may
be thrown into prison. I tell you the truth, you will
not get out until you have paid the last penny."

If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two
miles."

Matthew
6:2-4
"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it
with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues
and on the streets, to be honoured by men. I tell you
the truth, they have received their reward in full. But
when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand
know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving
may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done
in secret, will reward you."
