Speaking Out for Others

Have you ever been in a situation when somebody was in trouble for something what he or she hadn't done and you knew the truth? What did you do? Did you speak out for him/her or you thought it was not your business?

Read following stories in your Bible. They are about people who did wrong but there were other people who spoke out for them. They did not try to cover up mistakes or wrong doing. It would not help. But they pleaded for them.

Genesis 18:20-33

Acts 7:54-60
Philemon 8-21

What do you think about those people - both those who did wrong and those who spoke out for them?

How would you feel if anybody would speak out for you?

Do you have enough courage to speak out for others?

God wants us to speak out for other if they need it. Read Philippians 2:4.
